| MythTV Tutorial Updated
|
 We've updated all chapters of the MythTV tutorial. We've also finally published the last chapter where we give our impression of the system. We haven't moved to 0.18 yet but it is available as a Gentoo ebuild. Finally we've made the tutorial a bit easier to navigate by including a table of contents in each chapter. Here is the Introduction.

| MythTV and the Prebuffering Pause

| New Article - Installing MythVideo and MythDVD

Tim writes "Following up on our MythTV tutorial we've just published an article where we install MythVideo and MythDVD on our MythTV system. To make things more interesting we used VideoLAN Client instead of mplayer to play the videos and dvd's. Hope you enjoy it!"

| Installing MythTV - Part 6 Available

Tim writes "We've published Part 6 of the MythTV tutorial. In this chapter we deal with some advanced configuration issues. We get MythTV to startup automatically without a console login. We also get it to run without a window border or title. We also go over installing MythWeb for remote control. Enjoy!"
